You meet the most curious and beautiful souls from the point of a pencil
She is a Unicorn Keeper, Guardian of Young Unicorns
Protecting them
keeping them hidden
till they are old enough to be on their own.
She is part unicorn, part winged angel
Another...
She came out of the blue....as I drew her..
I began to realize she carried that powerful 'Alice Essence"
a walker between the worlds.. astral dreaming..time travel..portal hopper!
A kindred!

The light that is coming our of her from within seems so strong when compared to the external lights of the different sources, yet in harmony with the latter, I feel a powerful motherhood in these lovely works, I feel so charnged up right now!
Many beautiful sketches here, Victoria. Your drawing ability is awesome. Even more, your paintings have such character and soul. I love Alice. That was my mother's name. In fact the eyes and the cheekbones in your sketch look a lot like my mother's as a young woman.

Oh my God there are so many new sketches this week...I am amazed at the amount of creativity you carry in your heart and that sketch of Alice is my new favorite now...waiting anxiously for the colors to come in :)
Oh, these are fabulous sketches and if I'm not mistaken, your style is evolving. This is a different subject to your older paintings, slightly more modern and less dreamy?
Beautiful sketches! I told you before how much I love sketches :-) And now I love the dresses you are drawing. Are they all imagination or do you get inspiration somewhere? I am a taylor and love historic dress!!!
Thank you for your comment on my blog post, I just spontaneously painted the clay! I don't know what will become of it later. Maybe I will let it dry slowly and keep it as it is. I'm not an expert on clay and do know only very little about baking it. Don't know how the paint will react on the heat, or if the oven will "like" the paint ???

That rabbit in her hand is my fav...there is something magical about that rabbit...it is no ordinary rabbit. Is it the magic of creativity?
