THE SECRET TEA BOX
palette of pale blues, greens, tones of yellow beneath

Waiting until she is alone..
a message waits for her inside,

Hi Kiki. Always when at your blog I find myself in a journey, a journey of life. I am always drawn into your pieces and today I wondered what the letter said when she put it in the teabox. Up to recently I did have a pen pal, a blogger pen pal. Those were the good old days. Excellent work as always kiki and I leave here inspired. Thank you. Happy PPF!
Now I want a cup of tea!
Oh, I love secret letters left in the teabox! Handwritten with love and laughter. She's wonderful. :)
Loving your new gorgeous painting Victoria, by her expression she is definitely hoping nobody is looking at her. Wonderful mystery tale and glorious colourings. Enjoy the weekend my friend, hugs Annette x
I am also a lover of tea and handwritten letters. :) I adore the palette of this piece, magical as always.

This is is amazingly beautiful...yes I still believe in the magic of handwritten letters and cards... they have a direct touch on your heart...very much like your work my dear :)
Querida Victoria, tienes un arte muy especial, muy profundo, lleno de sensibilidad de una personalidad increÃble. Este trabajo es totalmente maravilloso.
Buen fin de semana.
I loved how she emerged from the canvas. Beautiful blues and greens, Victoria. And I am a fan both of tea and of handwritten letters!
Something about Tea and handwritten letters.! She's beautifully painted, Victoria..Another winner!!!
I love the yellow tones--makes the painting that much more of another age. . . . ah, and one of your beautiful and extravagant hats--they seem portal in and of themselves.
And tea? Oh, yes I love tea (love it, love it), but I never had such an exciting exchange with it. I wonder what her secret note says . . .
Beautiful, Victoria. :)
Wow, life itself is like that box, we never know what is in store till we open :-) I loved this palette, the blue green will make her find something very healing!
Love the look on her face while she's reaching into that teabox. Great work!
Beautiful! Love your wonderful palette and the extraordinary atmosphere!
Beautiful work and story, its great to se your work in progression, thanks for sharing
Yes! I love tea and I absolutely love handwritten letters and this post is just perfect for me. Just lovely.
This is fantastic! I really love her expression, she is a little tentative, trying not to tip anyone off that she can reach right into such a source of magic.
Also, The Secret Tea Box totally sounds like the title of a C.S. Lewis book that I would have devoured as a child.
I love the mystery of this new piece and your use of strong vertical lines both in the subject and background. This really adds wonderful definition and depth to the piece and a sense of anticipation. A festive feel!
Happy Holiday season Victoria!
