The Awakening

This piece came at a special time...
In this painting I feel at One with my Spirit ... peaceful and free
I began it last spring ..put it away ..and recently..
it has awakened me once again..

There was a nest of crows where I live..
and watching their journey unfold daily..spoke to me,
hearing their cries..thier calls..tending to the nest..
a very sacred time..
*
I felt my own Spirit's Call creating new life too ..
and Beginning again..
flying with Harmony...
flying with Harmony...
I felt a piece of my soul return to me
and bloom
and bloom
*
It brought me back to a time long ago
where I needed to heal
and reminded me...
how far I had come..
how far I had come..
how vast my wings had expanded
and the blissful essence
they always bring to me
in that space of Freedom and Magic and Beauty
*
The Connection to my spirit
continually Guides my life
and infuses it with harmony
We all can find deep joy in our spirit..and the journey it brings
It is a very soft whispy airy piece..I am enjoying it...
and it feels like
a Meditation while painting it
..it brings me deep joy....

Such a special piece - it practically exudes peace and power. I cannot wait to see how it develops. I love art/spirit journeys like that. I am just now recycling some old paintings (painting new ones on top of them) - back then they were so momentous and now they feel as though they are the stepping stone to something new. I love knowing that there are paintings under paintings... Layers - just like our spirits...

Oh how very lovely!!!! She is indeed very soft and whispery. I love the light sunny palette. Her hair shines like the sun. :) And what a beautiful bird she holds. Birth of spring!

A stunning artwork and yes you can feel the lightness of her spirit flowing upwards. Nature is always sending us messages - we just have to be ready to see them. An inspired and beautiful post Victoria!

She is so airy and filled with light, it looks as though she can easily join her feathered friends in the air whenever she feels the need.
