IRIS... STILL BLOOMING
The Charming Blue Cat
Beginning to take form..against her vintage floral dress
I love when the sunlight
is trying to pierce thorugh the veil of my window
Such magical light............tiny things make my heart sparkle
She still has much to tell me..
She is coming along...
and I am enjoying her vibrant garden of colors..

Both are stunning but seeing the transformation of Celestina is quite magical. However, it is the song 'Iris' that is flowing through my mind right now... I must set it to play.
'And I'd give up forever to touch you...'
Wow!!!Celestina è fantastica!!! Hai creato un personaggio con un'anima viva! Bellissima!
Amo anche i colori che usi, sono molto vivaci è danno molta espressione ai tuoi soggetti, complimenti!!!
Buon fine settimana

I love seeing the transformation and your amazing art process at work Victoria! I don't paint (maybe someday) but my digital creations work similarly by adding color and layers of life and expression until you (feel and know) that you are done. Thank you for sharing these enchanted pieces!

Magnificent to she your Blue Lady come to life!
I'm so glad you didn't leave her blue. I love the vibrancy you got when you added those golden and red colors to the Blue Lady. Your work has such a peaceful feeling and the painting is so expertly done. You seem to know exactly when to stop. That is a difficult thing to know sometimes.
All three of these are looking gorgeous!
Love that blue cat!

Victoria,
I pull up your site and left to tend to my cooking and baking in the kitchen ( chocolate chip cookies, Shepard's Pie ,Spanish Rice and hard boiled eggs for salad ~ snowstorm does that to me) anyway, I completed forgot until my return to the computer in my bedroom and lay my eyes upon Celestina and her blue cat. My how you captivated me for a while. I adore the kitty, reminds me of our Elly , he sat just like that when picked up ; ) , only we couldn't hold him very long because he was ,after all , our big fat house cat....miss him terribly.
Your work has infinite beauty and always gives me a nudge from a distant Anima Mia alas my dear departed Elly.....Lovely work ......always.
p.S. Silke is right.....they want to be touched so we can wonder inside their world.

I just love and admire the way you do your work!
Your paintings are so rich with colours and images, so beautiful!
Very lovely, Victoria. I like how you seem to start with lighter colours as you progress into your final painting. It's brilliant and works for you. :)
Vibrant reds and beautiful blues in your paintings this week! Lovely.
love your emerging blues!

wow - just gorgoues - your work is just beautiful ....i can stare at it all day!

LOVE this--though I always admire your work. Looking at the stages of creation in your paintings it makes me think of how Michelangelo used to look at statues--they were already in there waiting under the big block of stone, he just had to dig them out.
She has turned out so pretty!
The crow lady is really striking!

Blue cat lady turned out beautifully. I love seeing the evolution of each of your paintings..there's so much energy and spirit radiating from each one... :)
Celestina is lovely, but Iris is just stunning... those eyes look like they have a story or two to tell... your work is just so lovely and every week I love seeing those underpainting stages... so great to see that amazing structure emerging... have a wonderful week...xx
Wow!!!! Both Iris and Celestina are simply stunning. They have such lovely kindly expressions. Iris and her blue cat looks to be a rather large scale painting. And I see that lovely woman in a red dress with her bird, too. I just love visiting your enchanted world!!!
Hi Kiki. Both are just so beautiful, stunning I should say. I feel their spirit and it comes from you. Awesome work as always and sorry I'm late. Haven't been around lately but right now I'm trying to catch up before I leave to San Jose again. Take care and just beautiful.
