One evening in the summer we had a gathering....sometimes people usually wander up to the loft and explore my paintings..tell me the stories they see ..
My beautiful little neice noticed a wall with these feathery faces with winged eyes...she was very interested in them..and asked me what they meant..

I paused..to think of something to say to this little one..

and she answered it for me...do they mean ...like......."Creativity"? or something like that..I smiled..YES..exactly. And she continued to tell me..well , the feathers are coming from the eyes..so that is reeeeally creative. Her sweet words..and her interpretation of the paintings melted my heart..the perfect word..she is absolutely right! What better word could you find..for wings growing on  a face!

This week Inspiration Avenue's theme is Decisions
It brought me to these winged faces..feathers and all...the feeling of freedom..the Magic of creating your own path..finding your own way...directing the course..ignting the power of choice and following with an empowered sense of self -direction!

Both these paintings embody that quality..expression...creativity..the dance of freedom and personal power and expression. They are not afriad to follow their decisions and celebrate the powerful freedom in making choices..

Often people are afraid of choices, of making decisions..but I think choices are so Magical..there is so  much Creative Power in igniting new energy and aligning  new space into Becoming...creating with your path..a small or big choice..it is an honor to get the chance to have a say! Sometimes we don't always  get the chance to make a choice..there are those in the world..who do not have the luxury of choice or even getting to decide ...if you are lucky to have the opportunity to create with your decisions on some level..that is powerful..and a Gift!
